L'Oreal Paradise Extatic | Mascara + Brow Pomade

Friday, 4 August 2017
L'Oréal have released the brand new Paradise collection and as soon as I saw it in Superdrug I knew I had to pick it up, so I got the mascara that there is so much hype around and L'Oréal's first brow pomade which I couldn't wait to try.

L'Oréal have released the new Paradise Extatic Mascara and oh my goodness, the hype over it is unreal and from using it for the past couple of weeks, I completely agree with it. A lot of people (bloggers) have been comparing it to the Too Faced, Better Than Sex mascara, which I personally have not tried but looking at pictures of the brushes and the actual effect that the mascaras have on the lashes, they do look super similar.

The Paradise Extatic mascara aims to give you "intense volume, spectacular length, feather-soft feel" and I can 100% say that this is true. The brush is the perfect shape to give volume and lift to my thin, straight lashes and the formula of the mascara is perfect giving my lashes more length and giving a thickening effect without making my lashes clump.

As well as a mascara, L'Oréal released the Paradise Extatic Brow Pomade, which I purchased in the shade 104 Brunette, as although I am blonde, I prefer a darker brow and this shade is perfect for me. With their first brow pomade, L'Oréal have created it so that it was buildable, allowing their customers to create both natural and bold brows with only one product. I have used this product on my brows for the past few weeks and I have used it to create every day looks as well as a dramatic night out look and the only product that I used as an extra for the dramatic look was the L'Oréal Brow Artiste Plumper in Medium/Dark which added a little more colour to my brows.

The Brow Pomade comes with a brush, which makes it super handy for travelling and although on a day-to-day basis I use my Morphe E29 Elite II Angled Brow/Spoolie Brush, the brush supplied is quite good and would apply the product just as well.

Overall, I can honestly find no fault with either product. My lashes has never looked as good as they do with the Paradise Extatic Mascara, they look thicker, longer and they hold their curl a lot better as well. The Paradise Extatic Pomade gives me full brows effortlessly, and with their long-lasting formula, they last all day without smudging or fading, what more could you ask for?
